‘The Fil’ at the Met: Panorama of Sound

On Friday, May 19 The Filomen M. D’Agostino Greenberg Music School returned to the Met Museum for Panorama of Sound – a journey through soundscapes of 1920s America, inspired by Thomas Hart Benton’s mural America Today. The concert featured art, dance, and music performances the The Fil’s youth and adult students, as well as faculty and special guests.  It was made accessible to audiences through verbal description and closed captioning. Over 500 people attended the event in-person and many more tuned into the live stream.
