Summer 2023 Session

Each year The Fil’ offers a summer session in the month of July. This year the summer session runs from July 5 – 29 and students can register for a range of individual lessons, group classes, and even field trips. The summer session is the perfect opportunity to try a new instrument or to participate in an online group class. In-person classes take place at 92nd Street Y while online classes are taught on Zoom.  A summary of offerings is listed below.  For more information please visit Adult Classes or Child and Youth Classes. 

Individual Lessons: Piano, voice, guitar, electric bass, saxophone, clarinet, braille music, music technology, and vocal coaching

In-Person Group Classes: Electronic Music, The D Word/Gaga Technique, Voice Lab

Online Group Classes: From Opera to Broadway, Country Music

NYC Field Trips: Museum of Modern Art, The Museum of Broadway, Dream House, El Museo del Barrio
