The annual summer session at the FMDG Music School is the perfect time to continue pursuing instrumental study, join a fun group class, or even explore an NYC cultural institution.
The current summer session is in full swing with a variety of classes such as a songwriting workshop with singer/songwriter, Ginny Owens, and a class on epic musicals taught by voice instructor, Michelle Trovato. In-person classes take place at 92nd Street Y, while online classes meet on Zoom.
FMDG Music School students have also had the opportunity to explore the mechanism of a piano with technician, David Elinson, as well as visit the Met Museum’s music instrument collection, and participate in a touch tour at the Noguchi Museum.
If you are interested in joining the next summer session in July 2025 please check back during the 2024-2025 academic year for more information.
