Are you a music lover looking to try out an instrument? Were you a performer in the past, and want to get back into it? Are you looking to make friends with other music lovers with vision loss? Are you a fan of FMDG’s programs, but don’t know where to start?
If you answered yes to any of the questions above… we’d like to invite you to join our first-ever “JAM WITH THE FIL” on Saturday, December 7th.
Under the guidance of FMDG’s faculty, we’ll learn a song (or two) and perform it together as a group. If you’ve never picked up an instrument before (or you’re a little rusty), that’s no problem at all. We’ll have a variety of ways to get involved in the groove and allow you to discover where you best fit in!!
After jamming out, we’ll have pizza, refreshments, and time to mingle with your new friends.
Ages: 16+
Date: Saturday, December 7th, 3:00 – 5:00 PM
Location: 92NY, Room S251, 1395 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10128
This is a FREE event. Advanced registration is highly recommended, but not required.
Register in advance and receive a FREE FMDG Tee Shirt (while supplies last).

The Filomen M. D’Agostino Greenberg (FMDG) Music School, established in 1913, is dedicated to empowering individuals with vision loss through music education, offering top-notch instruction and specialized resources. It champions inclusion and creativity, serving as a valuable asset for students and music educators alike.
FMDG’s Junior Advisory Board (JAB) is a group of young adult students (in our 20s-30s) who work together to support the efforts of the Filomen M. D’Agostino Greenberg Music School through events and initiatives.
