FMDG Music School Vocal Ensemble at the MET Cloisters

On Tuesday, December 13, the Vocal Ensemble brought holiday cheer to the MET Cloisters.  The 20-member strong adult group were dressed in black with accompanying gold scarves and bow ties.  Dr. Dalia Sakas directed the a cappella performance of several holiday choral arrangements.  Guests and museum goers were treated to pieces including an old French carol, a holiday tango, and a rendition of Elvis Presley’s hit, “Blue Christmas”, arranged by faculty member, Yo Kano.  The program concluded with a fun sing-a-long of “Deck the Halls” and “Jingle Bells” for all audience members.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the Vocal Ensemble at the Met Cloisters.  A special thank you also to the MET Museum for making this event possible.
