Celebrating Families
The program explores family through music and visual art — from the devotion between parent and child, to legacies passed across generations, to artistic lineages connecting composers and traditions. Works from The Met’s collection are brought to life through rich verbal descriptions, ensuring every guest experiences the beauty of both music and art together.

Admission & Access
Free with Museum admission. Pay what you wish for NY state residents; free for children 12 and under with an adult and for a care partner accompanying a visitor with a disability. Space is limited; first come, first served.

Sighted guides available at the 81st and 82nd Street entrances from 5:15 pm. Assistive listening devices and CART captioning available.
