Conversations with the Fil’: Dr. M. Leona Godin

Dr. M. Leona Godin’s groundbreaking book, “There Plant Eyes:  A Personal and Cultural History of Blindness” was published in 2021.   A professional writer, performer, educator, and an alumna of The Fil, Dr. Godin inspires others to ponder and question how the world sees people with vision loss as well as themselves.  Dr. Leslie Jones, Executive Director of The Fil,  will talk with Dr. Godin about her journey of writing the book, the content of the book, and her personal journey of blindness which led Dr. Godin to write the book.  Questions will be welcome.
