Conversations with The Fil: Large Print Music

The Conversations with The Fil series is intended to enlighten and familiarize people with musicians, writers, artists, dancers, and actors of note who are blind and visually impaired or are working to make accessibility and inclusion a hallmark feature of their work. 

On Monday, February 26at 6:30 PM (EST) Richard Thai, Program Manager, will lead a panel discussion on large print music.  This event follows the panel discussion on braille music transcription held in November 2023.  The panel will include:

  • Mark Walton (NZ/AUS) – Musician, Educator, Outreach Music, Former Chair of Woodwind and Chair of Performance (Sydney Conservatorium of Music), Yamaha Artist
  • Georgia Steel (NZ/UK) – Violist, Conductor, Graduate Student (Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama)
  • Alison Dalton (US) – Violinist, former 1st Violin (Chicago Symphony Orchestra)
