Conversations with The Fil: Audio Description
The Conversations with The Fil series is intended to enlighten and familiarize people with musicians, writers, artists, dancers, and actors of note who are blind and visually impaired or are working to make accessibility and inclusion a hallmark feature of their work.
On Monday, October 14, at 7:00 PM (EDT) Dr. Leslie Jones (Executive Director) and Richard Thai (Program Manager) will lead a lively discussion on the importance of audio description in accessing media as well as live performances. The panel will include:
- Nefertiti Matos Olivares – Voice Talent, Audio Describer (Descriptive Video Works, Social Audio Description Collective)
- Amanda Wheeler – Audio Describer
